At our general meeting on the 11th of August Elizabeth Goodfellow, from Yass Area Network of Landcare Groups, spoke to us about: Climate change, Responses and Climate-ready Revegetation.
Since 2018, Elizabeth has been part of Landcare’s Climate-Ready Vegetation and Let’s Try It! teams, as well as coordinating Bowning-Bookham Landcare’s Habitat Hops Project.
These projects have given Elizabeth insight into climate science, what the science means for us locally and some of the opportunities and challenges we face in adapting to our changing climate.
