The Australian Government agreed a review of the Snowy Water Inquiry Outcomes Implementation Deed (SWIOID) in March 2025 to look for opportunities to improve the health of the upper Murrumbidgee River upstream of Burrinjuck Dam.
The review will use ‘Structured Decision Making’ for the Stakeholder Advisory Group of which UMCN is a member. This is a collaborative approach that seeks input as the Review progresses. A formal Public Consultation Process will also occur towards the end of the Review.
